What We Focus On
Personalized medications, not just refills
- Custom Compounding – Adjusting dose, form, and inactive ingredients so medications better match your body and your provider’s plan, and drug–nutrient interaction checks.
- Hormone Optimization – Natural, bioidentical hormone formulations, coordinated with your labs and your clinician.
- PlasmaXchange™ Detox Access – Local support for MDLifespan’s patent-pending TPE protocols designed to help reduce plasma-borne toxin burden and support long-term wellness.
- Veterinary Compounding – Pet-friendly strengths, forms, and flavors so your animals actually take their meds.
- Pharmacist-Curated Supplements – Professional lines only, with a focus on purity, potency, and drug–nutrient interaction checks.
We’re here to help you feel better, live better, and take more control of your health journey.
Our Story
RxFormulations was founded in 2002 by pharmacist Troy Albright with a mission to provide solutions when standard medications fail.
From our Mesa location at 5949 E University Dr., we've spent over two decades creating personalized medications and wellness protocols for patients across the East Valley and throughout Arizona.
What started as a neighborhood compounding pharmacy has evolved into a comprehensive wellness hub, offering:
- Custom compounded prescriptions for unique dosing and allergy needs
- Bioidentical hormone therapy for men and women
- Tailored veterinary medications
- Professional-grade supplement dispensing
- Arizona's first PlasmaXchange™ detox partnership with MDLifespan
Today, we're still locally owned, independently operated, and driven by the same principle we started with: when one-size-fits-all medicine doesn't work, your pharmacy should have better answers.
Our Vision
To transform Mesa's healthcare experience by providing truly personalized pharmacy solutions that address root causes, not just symptoms.
Our Mission
To make advanced, personalized care feel local, human, and doable. We achieve this by:
- Personalizing every plan - We adjust dose, form, ingredients, and timing so medications fit your body and lifestyle, not the other way around.
- Protecting long-term health – We consider environmental toxins, hormone disruption, nutritional deficiencies, and daily stressors in every recommendation.
- Partnering with providers – We work directly with your doctors, nurse practitioners, and functional medicine team to coordinate care.
- Simplifying complexity – We turn overwhelming medication lists and confusing protocols into clear, sustainable routines you can actually follow.
Whether you're exploring compounding, hormones, PlasmaXchange™, supplements, or veterinary medications, our goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in your next step.
Our Values
Personalized Over Generic
One-size-fits-all medicine leaves too many people behind. We start with your story and build from there.
Science with a Human Lens
We follow the data but always translate it into real-life plans you can actually follow.
Collaboration, Not Silos
We work with your doctors, designing medications and protocols that complement your care.
Clean & Transparent
From ingredients to protocols, we aim for clarity including what’s in it, why it’s there, and how it’s meant to help.
Community First
Every improvement we make in our pharmacy is meant to serve families and providers here in our community.

How We Work With Patients
1
Consult First
We want to know your history, goals, concerns, and what hasn’t worked. Compounding and advanced therapies only make sense when they’re grounded in your real story.
2
Provider Collaboration
We work directly with physicians, NPs, and functional medicine clinics across the East Valley, coordinating prescriptions, hormone plans, lab interpretations, and PlasmaXchange referrals.
3
Personalized Plan
That might mean changing the form (capsule → cream), the dose, removing a dye or filler, or building a supplement protocol that actually fits your budget and routine.
4
Continuous Support
We’re available for follow-up questions, refills, adjustments, and long-term strategies, whether that’s annual PlasmaXchange maintenance, a hormone re-evaluation, or simplifying a complex medication list.
